A New Journey.

My family and I have recently decided to move back to the place of my birth. I moved away from there when I was seven, so I don't remember much from my time there, only a few bits and pieces. So in a lot aspects I'm going to be living in a new place. It's not totally foreign, but it will be a new journey. I'm excited, not so much because of the idea of going to live there but much more about seeing new places, as I have severe case of wanderlust and I adore traveling. The history of the country is not that interesting for me(I love traveling mostly for the history of other countries I get to see), but there are lots of other things to do.

I've never in my life experienced such a big change before, as it is also the first time that I will be away from family for an extended period of time, and I'm curious on how I will react to that.

I've done so much planning over the past few weeks (I love planning out a trip as much as I love going on the trip), and one of the things I've been making is a playlist of songs that I will be listening to while at the airport and on the trip. One thing about me, is that I am in love with listening to certain music while driving. It's the most beautiful feeling, sitting in the backseat of a car listening to music and looking out at the scenery in front of you. I know that plenty of people have that experience, but for me it's one of the most peaceful moments of my life. On this trip I've concocted a playlist of both Christian and non-christian songs (in later posts I will discuss my religion).

The christian songs are a mix of different songs, not necessarily by any artist, but I do have specific non-christian songs. I like to listen to really good songs by artists that aren't really well known, so this is the playlist of non-christian songs. I highly recommend these artists, if you're interested:

{ Ruelle }

{ Zayde Wolf }

{ Aurora }

{ Fleurie }

One of the christian artists that I will mention, is For King and Country. They are one of my favourite artists out there, and I will especially be listening to their new album called Burn The Ships. As the title suggests, it's about letting go of things that are holding you back and to step into a new future and start a new life. And of course, that's exactly what we will be doing.

All in all, I hope this journey will create new memories and may this shower blessings in my life.
